4 Returns Framework: 'Accelerating Landscape Regeneration at Scale' project
The ‘Accelerating landscape regeneration at scale’ project seeks to refine, test and promote the ‘4 Returns Framework’ for holistic landscape regeneration. The project is a landmark 10 year collaboration between Commonland, Wetlands International and the Landscape Finance Lab to further develop The 4 Returns Framework, which brings together the combined best practices and methodologies of the three organisations.

FAO Finance for Forest and Landscape Restoration Community of Practice
The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation has been working with the Landscape Finance Lab since 2020 to grow its Finance for Forest and Landscape Restoration Community of Practice and deliver online learning experiences in a range of formats including webinars, masterclasses, interactive workshops, fireside chats, live Q&As, and more. Peatland Finance Ireland
Peatland Finance Ireland is one of Europe’s most ambitious national public-private peatland restoration initiatives. Now in Phase II, the Landscape Finance Lab, with the steering group, are designing a catchment-scale financing instrument for restoring up to 750,000 ha of peatlands across Ireland. Success will require integrated action by government, communities, forestry, energy, water and agriculture sectors. With effective restoration, these petlands have the potential to sequester up to 4.5 MtCO2 per annum, equivalent to removing more than 5% of national emissions and contributing to Ireland’s obligations under the new EU Restoration Directive. Lead partners include NPWS Ireland, European Investment Bank, ERINN Innovation, IUCN UK, Wetlands Int plus six government departments and two semi-states.

SNV
SNV is a global development organisation that aims to transform agri-food, energy and water systems, with projects in more than 20 countries across Africa and Asia. The Landscape Finance Lab and SNV are working together to define, build and embed a 'Landscape Approach' across SNV and across its portfolio of projects, in particular with Food Systems landscapes. In addition to shaping the strategy, the Lab will provide training and capacity building for SNV practitioners in landscape approaches and landscape finance along with technical assistance to a number of individual projects that already integrate some aspects of a landscape approach.
