In this interactive virtual session, we'll be showcasing how EU Horizon WaterLANDS Programme Action Sites from across Europe are identifying and articulating different sources of value within their landscapes, and applying different finance models that go beyond traditional conservation grant funding, ensuring a more sustainably financed future for their wetland landscapes.
Join us for an informal and engaging introduction to the EU Horizon 2020 WaterLANDS ‘Mobilising Finance’ work (now in its third year), where we’ll be disseminating some of the key finance concepts and methods employed by our Action Sites, exploring a variety of models and sources of finance for their landscape beyond traditional grant funding, and sharing learnings to inform future projects and policies in wetlands restoration.
This event is for anyone working in wetland conservation and restoration, and no prior knowledge is necessary.
